I heard on the news today of an artist that although you weren’t quite sure who he was, you were taken by his contribution to the overall performance. Somewhat like playing viola in the orchestra – you never are quite sure if you are needed or if being there makes that much of a difference until you hear the applause or the audience member who takes the time to let you know how much their life is better because of how you played your instrument. This is for you, Alan Rickman – from “Die Hard” where hearing “Finlandia” makes me think of  you and overcoming improbabilities and of course your part in the orchestra/ensemble of “Love Actually”.

Thank you for playing a part in my life.

Thank you for playing a part in my life.Love conquers all even in the sadness of death. Rest in peace. You made a difference. Thank you.
